    * Please apply online at www.6dogrees.com by doing so you will get a response quicker. Meet Potter! Potter is an 8-year old, 17-pound, black & white neutered male Shih Tzu, and his adoption fee is $475. He was named after the character 'Harry Potter', as he has a distinguished lightning bolt down the center of his face like Harry Potter's scar. Potter is a sweet special boy seeking a loving safe forever home. Potter's owner passed away and he was surrendered to a very over crowded shelter in CA facing euthanasia. 6dogrees Rescue saved Potter to bring him to Seattle to find his forever home. Potter is adorable, sweet, loving and ... (Read More)very affectionate. He has low energy would make a terrific friend for someone seeking company of a loving pet that enjoys handing out around the house. Potter was terribly stained, matted and discolored when we saved him. He is now looking quite dapper with his new haircut. He is considered hypoallergenic and will require routine professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Potter enjoys a good meal (he is a good eater), and he will require a grain-free to keep him healthy and his coat beautiful and soft food as he is missing several of his teeth. Potter is crate trained, and will sleep snuggled in his crate all night without a peep. Potter barks very little and does not shed; he would be a great home, apartment or condo dog. A fully constructed fenced yard is required if a homeowner. Potter is a rescue dog, and rescue dogs require routine and stability. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying. Ideally, Potter should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours (he is learning about potty training). Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview. Applications accepted online at 6dogrees.com. The adoption fee is $475. My adoption fee will go to save other dogs at the high-kill shelters in California and is fully tax deduction (my Rescue, 6dogrees Rescue is a 501c3), and will provide a Potter is fostered North of Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com and we will review and get back to you promptly. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval. Animal ID: TimmieTimmie (WA) (male)

Shih Tzu Mix    Age: Puppy

Timmy is a 12-16 month old cairn terrier - shih tzu cross, so let's call him a care-tzu, shall we? Kind of like a care bear, but more canine. : ) Timmy is only 9.4# and very timid at first with new people, but when he warms up - watch out! He is full of energy, playful and very loving, just like a puppy should be. Timmy is scared of the unpredictability and sudden moves and sounds of small children, so he will be better suited to a house with older children, but man, he sure loves his squeaky toys and fuzzy blankets. He is good with other dogs, although his feelings about cats are unknown. Ultimately, Timmy needs someone as his person that ... (Read More)will give him boatloads of TLC so he can grow up to be the most awesome dog he can be. Timmy currently resides in a WA fosterhome. Adoption fee is $350.00. Transport may be available to approved adopters. Contact Journeyhomerescue@outlook.com. (Less)
