    * Please apply online at www.6dogrees.com by doing so you will get a response quicker. Meet Sofie! I am an 8-years young, 12-pound, princess. My adoption fee is $595. I believe that I may be a Shihtzu mix, whatever my breed, I am gorgeous - inside and out. I am sweet as sugar, and have a darling personality. My big button eyes will melt your heart. I am spayed, current on my vaccinations, and a very good girl - of course I am, I am a princess! I want to be adopted by a family that will love me unconditionally. I am pretty quiet, and would like a home to match my personality - stable, loving, and loyal. I enjoy going on walks and ... (Read More)being by your side. I will make you look good - I am that kind of girl! It will be important that I am groomed every 6 to 8 weeks so that my coat stays beautiful. I will also need to be brushed regularly to keep my hair free of mats. I will also require a grain-free diet to keep me healthy. I am being fostered with dogs my size and I like other dogs, but I would not mind be an only child'| I am flexible. I also do not mind cats. I am crate trained - but would love to sleep on your bed under the covers. Due to my size, I cannot go to a home with children under the age of 10 years old and are respectful of dogs. I will also require a fully fenced yard so that I do not run away. I am curious, and this is all new to me. Fences help protect me and establish boundaries. Sofie is a rescue dog, and rescue dogs require routine and stability. Please be prepared for a lifelong commitment before applying. Ideally, Sofie should be pottied every 4 to 5 hours. Dogs cannot be left alone for 8 hours per day. Home check and plan must be carefully thought out and presented at time of interview. Applications accepted online at 6dogrees.com. The adoption fee is $595. My adoption fee will go to save other dogs at the high-kill shelters in California and is fully tax deduction (my Rescue, 6dogrees Rescue is a 501c3), and will provide a donation receipt. I am fostered North of Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com and we will review and get back to you promptly. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval. Adoption fee include: Neuter or spay, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we 'Save it forward'; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. 6dogrees adoptions are limited to residents of Washington State. (Less)
