Thursday is a loving 11year old dog. I have had her since she was a puppy but my life has changed serverly since I was 14 and I am forced to rehome her. She has had most of her teeth removed throughout the years but is still happy and full of energy.

Have you ever had a neighbor- an irascible, snappish, crotchety old man - that sat on his porch barking 'you kids, stop riding your bicycles and skate boards on my sidewalk'? Meet Mr. Pepie Wobbles George Lopez Low Rider, an 11 year old, 11 pound Shih Tzu that is looking for a soul mate- who will appreciate his character and good looks, his need for gentle walks, who is not looking for a snuggle pooch- but just a companion to sit upon your lap and keep one company. He is somewhat aloof- but would be wonderful if he didn't have to deal with other critters. Although he is in foster with pooches of all sizes and breeds- he really prefers just a 'you and me'. He came from less than the best of circumstances- and I suspect was crated too much, hence Wobbler. . His breath was so offensive- a skunk could not compete; his mouth and gums so infected- no wonder he was a miserable cuss. He has come a long way baby! He had a complete dental which included extraction of 8 teeth. His is now flea free and sores all gone. His dental issues affected his eyes and sinus- so badly that within hours of wiping clean- his poor eyes would be crusted over shut. And dare clean his eyes- OMG . He is still a bit uncomfortable when wiping his eyes from time to time- but I do it gently from behind- perhaps once a week. He is potty trained- not much of a talker. He is still somewhat aloof- but I know there is the perfect older person waiting for such a little man. Please share- firstname.lastname@example.org (Less)

Shih Tzu Dogs can make good pets in Oregon if they match your IifestyIe. The Shih-Tzu is a toy breed similar to the Pekingese. Shih-Tzus are proud little dogs and loaded with personality. Shih-Tzus are gentle and do fine with children who are taught to respect the dogs. Shih-Tzus bark to announce people approaching their homes. Shih-Tzus need early obedience training and may require patience when housebreaking. A Shih-Tzu will do just fine in an apartment if it gets enough exercise.
