I'm a very sweet older (about 12 years old) lady that's looking for my forever home to live out the rest of my years happily. I am partially blind in my right eye, but that doesn't hold me back one bit! After 12 years of living, I know my limits and I'm cautious when getting down from high locations (like the couch). I take a day or two to warm up to a new environment, but after that I am very friendly. I take that first day to sniff out my environment and become familiar with the people and other animals in it. Speaking of other animals, I get along great with bigger dogs or laid-back dogs but I don't appreciate puppies nipping at me or ... (Read More)trying to play rough. I get along with cats too in the sense that I just avoid them. When it comes to people, I love all of them as long as they respect me. Sometimes a kid tries to pick me up and I don't like that very much, so I get along better with older children and adults. I'm 100% house trained but I don't know how to use a doggy door (I'm old so I don't like the fancy new gadgets). I only need to go outside 2-3 times a day. I don't need to be walked every day but I do enjoy walks and do very well on a leash. I prefer wet food over dry pellets but if the pellets are softened, I don't mind eating them either. I do well with baths even though they aren't my favorite thing! I enjoy following people around the house - I make sure I'm behind you instead of in front of you so you don't trip over me. My favorite activity is napping throughout the day! Sometimes I get bursts of energy and like to run around but that doesn't last too long. I do well in a crate but I don't need to be put into one. I don't get into any trouble if I'm left alone - I mostly just sleep while you're gone! If you have any questions, my foster would be happy to answer them. She tells me all the time that I'm the easiest foster she's ever had! I hope I'll get to meet you soon. (Less)
