Little Orphan Annie is looking for her happy ending! She was found as a stray at the beginning of September and she was brought to the Yonkers Animal Shelter. She was very matted and seemed sick, so they sent her to the vet who discovered she had a kidney stone so large it must have been growing for at least a year! The poor girl must have been in so much pain, but she is now in great health and ready to find a loving forever home! When we saw Annie at the Yonkers shelter she begged us to take her with us (you can see in the video) and how could we say no?! We found her a wonderful foster home and took her out of the shelter just last week. ... (Read More)Her foster family has two small children that she adores and they say she loves to hang out with the family! She spends most of the day sleeping at her foster mom's feet and loves every second. They are helping her with housebreaking and crate training, but it will take her body a while to adjust to no longer having such a large kidney stone so she will need a family that is understanding and patient with her housebreaking. She loves to cuddle, go for car rides and roll in the grass. She would make a wonderful companion for any family, and she deserves a soft place to call home in her golden years! (Less)

The only thing he will need is a dental as everything else will be taken care of. Rocky only likes to eat wet food but if you put a few kibbles with a little bit of warm water mixed that he will eat it. He also is not interested in treats or toys much. Rocky also has no sense of security he needs a lot of patience and attention. Please only inquire if you are a person who spends majority of their time at home and not long hours away from home. thank you. (Less)
