Shih Tzu    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Milo is a very sweet 6 year-old shih tzu that weighs about 25 pounds. He is a stalkier shih tzu that enjoys regular exercise, especially playing fetch. Milo loves to cuddle and will be content just hanging out on the couch while you pet him. He enjoys going for walks and likes to lounge outside in the sun. He will bark at intruders but always be there to greet you when you walk in the door. Milo has a couple fears that he cant quite get over. He doesn't like thunder and will run and hide. He has a very calm attitude but does not enjoy rough housing. He will be the sweetest dog ever when he is comfortable but will quickly let you know when ... (Read More)he is anxious or uncertain. Milo needs a home preferably without children where he will not be provoked or frightened. A quieter home would be best with a backyard that he can play in. Milo listens well and is used to sleeping in his cage at night, but has no problem outside of it. Currently Milo lives with his married owners, their new baby, and another younger male shih tzu whom does not get along with him. Unfortunately, taking care of a baby and two dogs has become too overwhelming for Milo's owners and they have agreed that it would be best for him to have a new family that can give him the attention he needs. Shih Tzu    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs
Personality: Very Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered

Good with dogs, but not good because of marking territory. Needs an only dog home with an older couple. He is very sweet but will chase a bad dog from the yard. He is the most wonderful dog ever. We are having a difficult time with this but have three dogs. He will not stop marking because of the others that we had taken care of for a while. He is absolutely sweet. He does not cause any trouble. He is very housebroken and will go to the door to go outside. I prefer groomers that don't cut hair, but I let them. I'm always in the third row seat when we get to the groomer. I'm loved by everyone that meets me.
