Update:5-21-15 Mia was adopted out twice now and has been returned both times. We have found she needs to be in a home with a firm hand that is not afraid to discipline her. She needs to be put in her place and know that YOU are the boss. Don't get me wrong Mia is a very good girl, but she will try to buffalo you and be the boss. Once she has you fooled she will continue to push you around and growl and nip at you until you set her straight. She is a perfect dog at my house, but I did have to correct her behavior and let her know she was not going to be my boss. Mia came to us as an owner surrender. They said they just did not have time for ... (Read More)her. We could tell by the way she had not been groomed that she had no attention payed to her in a very long time. Mai was not a happy girl when we first got her to our home. She was wanting to nip us like she had never been away from the place she had lived before coming to us. Needless to say by the end of the day she was best friends with all of us and has even had a bath, been brushed, and her face hair trimmed. Mia is VERYwell house trained!! She loves to be on your lap and will even set for a treat. She seems to be more of a womens dog, but will jump right up in my husbands lap to get loved on as well. Mia will still need her vetting done. Our rescue is out of funds at this point in time so we are not able to have her vetting done before she is adopted. She currently has an adoption fee of 75.00 and that is only to help us with food expenses and flea treatments. Please let us know if you would like to meet this sweet girl. Your more than welcome to call, text, or email us at any time. Update 5-5-15 Mia has had her bath and been groomed. She is not a small little dog. Her weight is around 15 or so lbs. Mia does shed so please know that she will not be one of those shed free dogs. (Less)
