    This baby girl lost her elderly owner and she her buddy Bam Bam were cared for by a couple of very caring neighbors. The family didn't want the dogs so the caring neighbors asked our rescue if we would take them in! Of course who could say not to such cutie pies!!! Bam Bam has already been adopted but Baby Pebbles needed a bit more time to adjust. She is a little love but it will take some time and patience before she will feel comfortable with anyone new as she still feels somewhat lost! But she is anxious to find a new person to trust and love and hopefully hold her in their heart for a very long time!!! Baby Pebbles is sweet, quiet, ...     Tootie is a very very sweet girl, she is about 9 yrs old and 12 lbs. She is gentle and loving, she loves to be held and loved. Tootie loves to stroll the yard, sit in the sunshine and loves to cuddle with you. She is good with other dogs, children and adults. Tootie has to eat a certain type food and also has to be on meds for the rest of her life due to keep her liver healthy. She is spayed, had all her shots, micro chipped, heart worm negative on heart worm prevention, flea prevention and been wormed. Tootie is house trained, crate trained and walks well on her leash.

    Shih Tzu Dogs can make good pets in Connecticut if they match your IifestyIe. The Shih-Tzu is a toy breed similar to the Pekingese. Shih-Tzus are proud little dogs and loaded with personality. Shih-Tzus are gentle and do fine with children who are taught to respect the dogs. Shih-Tzus bark to announce people approaching their homes. Shih-Tzus need early obedience training and may require patience when housebreaking. A Shih-Tzu will do just fine in an apartment if it gets enough exercise.
